AP4D Symposium | Partnering for Infrastructure with Southeast Asia and the Pacific
On Friday 8 September AP4D hosted a webinar to launch the options paper ‘What does it look like for Australia to be a partner for infrastructure with the Pacific and Southeast Asia’. Click here to read, download and share the paper.
Following remarks from ACMC Executive Director Nicola Rosenblum, expert working group contributors Alison McKechnie, Anna Griffin and Hayley Channer outlined some of the different perspectives on infrastructure in an insightful panel discussion with AP4D’s Melissa Conley Tyler.
Shadow Minister for Foreign Affairs Senator Simon Birmingham offered a response to the paper to conclude the event, emphasising the importance of ensuring that Australia’s infrastructure investment “complements… our overall statecraft and strategy”.
